Payment Policy

This Payment Policy outlines the accepted payment methods, security measures, and procedures for transactions on FunkySouq. By making a purchase on our platform, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this policy.

Accepted Payment Methods

Customers can pay for their orders using the following options:

  • 💳 Credit & Debit Cards – Visa, MasterCard, American Express (processed via Network International)
  • 💵 Cash on Delivery (COD) – Available for select products and delivery locations within the UAE
  • 📱 Digital Wallets / UPI (where supported) – Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, etc.
  • 💼 Bank Transfers – Available for large or bulk orders, subject to approval

Payment Currency

  • All transactions on FunkySouq are processed in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham).
  • If you are using an international card, your bank may charge a currency conversion fee as per their policy.

Payment Security

  • All card payments are processed through Network International, a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway.
  • FunkySouq does not store card details on its servers.
  • 3D Secure (Verified by Visa / MasterCard SecureCode) authentication is mandatory to protect against unauthorized use.
  • Transactions comply with UAE Central Bank and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) guidelines.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

  • COD is available only for orders under a specified limit.
  • Customers must provide exact change at the time of delivery.
  • Repeated refusals of COD orders may result in suspension of COD option for that customer.

Payment Confirmation

  • Once a payment is successfully processed, customers will receive a payment confirmation email/SMS along with the order details.
  • In case of a payment failure, customers are advised to retry or use an alternate payment method.

Refunds & Reversals

Refunds for cancelled or returned orders will be credited back to the original payment method only.

Refund processing timelines:

  • Card / Wallet Payments – 7 to 10 working days
  • Bank Transfers – 10 to 12 working days
  • COD Refunds – Processed via bank transfer only (no cash refunds)

FunkySouq is not responsible for delays caused by the customer's bank or payment provider.

Fraudulent or High-Risk Transactions

  • FunkySouq reserves the right to block, hold, or cancel orders flagged as suspicious by our fraud detection system.
  • Payments may be subject to additional verification (ID proof, bank confirmation, etc.).
  • Any fraudulent attempt will be reported to UAE authorities under applicable AML/CFT laws.

Failed Transactions & Double Charges

  • If a customer is charged but the order does not go through, FunkySouq will verify with the payment gateway and refund the duplicate charge within 7–10 working days.

Dispute Resolution

  • Any payment-related disputes should be raised within 14 calendar days of the transaction.
  • Disputes will be resolved in accordance with UAE consumer protection and e-commerce laws.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • This Payment Policy is governed by UAE Federal Law.
  • Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai Courts.
